10+1 : Our 10 year anniversary... 1 year late!

4 - 23 December 2021
  •

It’s eleven years since the Gallery first opened its doors and I am proud that Contemporary Six is now recognised as one of the leading galleries in the North.

I am delighted to invite you to the preview weekend of 10+1 our ten-year anniversary show, one year late!! As you may remember, last year our ten-year anniversary exhibition didn’t quite go to plan and due to lockdown we didn’t get the celebration show we wanted. Therefore, this year I have decided to re-celebrate our anniversary with a group show of small works by Gallery artists, guest artists and a few surprises!

The preview weekend will take place on 4 and 5 December- when you will have the opportunity to meet some of the artists and discuss their processes as well as see a wonderful show. The exhibition runs until 23 December and we will be open six days a week (please note we are closed on Mondays).

I would like to thank you for all the support you have given the Gallery over the last 11 years, and I look forward to celebrating with you very soon.

    With best wishes,

    Alex Reuben
