The dates printed relate to the date of the poster’s original production. In many cases the lettering was also designed by the artist.

This stunning and rare lithographic exhibition poster, printed in 6 colours, was made for the 1958 Georges Braque 'Oeuvre Graphique' (Graphic Work) exhibition at Galerie Nicolas Rauch, Geneva. Depicted is a variation of Braque's signature bird motif, similar to his Louvre fresco 'The Birds'. The poster includes the detail that both engravings and illustrated books will be on display, as well as detailing the exact address of the gallery.
